Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and S6 edge Plus get KNOX certification nod from China and France

Samsung’s KNOX security software is gaining adoption with users worldwide, and figures from just two months ago show that 4 million users have now adopted KNOX as their mobile security software for the workplace. While KNOX has been adopted by enterprise professionals, a great achievement in and of itself, it’s in the area of government embrace that Samsung’s KNOX will either rise or fall – and it seems as though everything’s coming up roses for the Korean giant.

After seeing the UK approval over KNOX for the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge, as well as the approval of the US Department of Defense, Finland and Russia, Samsung can now celebrate the growth of KNOX – as two new governments join the fold.

The Korean giant announced today that both the French (ANSSI) and Chinese (ISCCC) government security agencies have given their nod of approval to Samsung’s enterprise software on the Galaxy S6 edge+ and the Galaxy Note 5, meaning that Samsung’s latest devices can be used by government officials with an assurance that their data is encrypted and protected. The certification testing was conducted with Samsung’s KNOX Workspace 2.3.

Governments want the very best in data encryption and security, and Samsung’s KNOX enterprise software will provide relief for government agencies and officials who know the dangers of data breaches and the harm it can cause. Samsung’s government certifications of its KNOX software serve as a reminder to consumers that the best manufacturers also provide the best mobile protection.
