Samsung has just pushed a new update to its Gear Manager app, which is used to connect a smartphone with the company’s smartwatch and fitness tracker offerings. The new update brings the app to version 2.2.16011842, and you can install it from the Galaxy Apps store or the Google Play Store.
With the new version of the app, which has a file size of 31.5MB, Samsung has started displaying the battery level of the connected smartwatch, which is a nice addition. The company has also listed some tips such as using a dark watch face to increase the battery life of a connected smartwatch.

Samsung is doing all it can to increase the adoption of its smartwatches. It recently released some cool new apps and watch faces for the Gear S2. As Samsung promised during its press conference at CES 2016, the company might soon release the Gear Manager app for iOS devices.
