Samsung’s new flagship handsets have received a very positive response from customers around the world. Market analysts say the new handsets have done particularly well in markets like India and China. SamMobile China’s research found that Samsung is likely to get more than ten million pre-orders for the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 edge in the country.
Analysts believe that the new handsets are doing well because Samsung has brought back consumer-friendly features like the microSD card slot and water resistance, aside from the fact that the new flagships have a striking design and powerful internals. Analysts predict that the strong performance of these new flagships will bring in more profits for Samsung’s mobile division than earlier expected. Samsung is yet to provide concrete figures showing just how many units it has sold since the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 edge were released worldwide on March 11.
