Samsung Galaxy TabPro S 4G launched in Australia

The Galaxy TabPro S was unveiled back in January by Samsung to a mostly positive response. This was touted as a competitor to the Apple iPad Pro as well as the Microsoft Surface Pro 4. Well, the 4G LTE version of this 12-inch Windows-running tablet is now available for purchase in Australia via leading retailers. It can be bought from Samsung Experience Stores across Australia and via brick-and-mortar retailers like JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman etc. The company’s online store will also sell the product.

The tablet has been available since April in the region, but today formally marks the arrival of the 4G LTE variant for those looking to do most of their work on the go. Given its portable nature, the Galaxy TabPro S has been targeted towards students and those who do most of their work away from the desktop. The addition of this LTE model should go a long way in appealing to the masses in the region. The tablet was released in the U.S. a couple of months ago for about $899.99, it costs $1,799 AUD down under.
