International variant of the Galaxy A9 Pro passes through the FCC

A little over a month ago, we reported that Samsung may be planning to launch the Galaxy A9 Pro outside of China in the not-too-distant future, then a couple of weeks ago a ‘global model’ of the handset (SM-A910F) received both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi certification in the United States. Earlier today, however, the device passed through the United States of America’s official certification authority, the FCC; meaning it now passed all of the required tests to hit the shelves in the US.

It looks like Samsung will launch both a single-SIM and dual-SIM model of the handset in the region. They are both expected to pack identical internals to the Galaxy A9 Pro that was unveiled in China back in March, so they’ll sport a 6-inch Super AMOLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset, an Adreno 510 GPU, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable internal memory, a 16MP rear-facing camera, an 8MP front-facing camera and a 5,000mAh non-removable battery.
