Galaxy Note 7 may have the same Exynos processor as the Galaxy S7

Samsung is going to officially launch the Galaxy Note 7 tomorrow and we will finally find out when this handset is going to be available. A new report reiterates the specifications of the upcoming flagship and also mentions that the Galaxy Note 7 is going to have the same Exynos 8890 processor which powers the Galaxy S7. Previous reports suggest that the Galaxy Note 7 will be powered by the Snapdragon 823 in the United States and China while the other markets get a handset which has the Exynos 8893 processor.

The Exynos 8893 is believed to be an overclocked version of the existing Exynos 8890 processor but this report claims that the Galaxy Note 7 is going to use the same 2.3GHz Exynos 8890 processor found in the Galaxy S7, at least in Europe. There have been a lot of rumors about 6GB RAM for Galaxy Note 7 but it’s being said once again that Samsung is sticking with 4 gigs of memory. Additional specifications include the same rear and front cameras that you’ll find on the Galaxy S7, a USB Type-C port, a 3,500mAh battery as well as Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. We’ve already told you what the price in Europe is going to be, it’s likely that the handset will be rolled out in markets across the continent in the third week of this month.
