It has been two weeks since the Galaxy Note 7 was officially unveiled, and experts and consumer tech media around the world have expressed their views on Samsung’s latest phablet. It will take another week or so till our review of the Galaxy Note 7 gets published since we received the device late. So, we thought we would let you know what others have to say about the Galaxy Note 7.
Samsung takes the spirit of the Note down to the Galaxy S line, and it’s a hit.

The folks over at Android Central praised the Note 7′s beautiful hardware, industry-leading display, great camera, and unique S Pen features. However, they think that it’s still too big for some hands and that it’s very expensive. Read AndroidCentral’s Galaxy Note 7 review here.
The Galaxy Note7 performs well in benchmarks but the closer we get to real-world testing the more apparent it is that Samsung is not really doing well in real-world benchmarks which is concerning.

Joshua Ho from AnandTech wasn’t impressed with the Galaxy Note 7. He pointed out in his review out that Samsung’s symmetrical design is not that symmetrical, and that its real-world performance isn’t as good as the iPhone 6s’ and the HTC 10′s. Moreover, he thinks that the HTC 10′s camera is better than the Galaxy Note 7′s except the speed. He doesn’t think that the Galaxy Note 7′s price is justified, at least not until the launch of the upcoming iPhone 7 and Nexus devices.
Industrial design and attention to physical detail continue to climb to ever-greater heights at Samsung. The Note7 is a precious, fine object in its own right.

David Ruddock from Android Police has published some early review notes. According to him, the display on the Galaxy Note 7 is world-class, and its camera is very good. He found the battery life on the phablet surprisingly solid so far, but he thinks that performance on the Note 7 still feels a notch below the likes of the Moto Z and the Huawei P9.
The Galaxy Note 7 isn’t just the best Galaxy Note ever — it’s a strong contender as the best Android phone you can find right now.

Engadget’s Chris Velazco praised the phablet’s top-tier performance, gorgeous curved display, excellent battery life, and “one of the best mobile cameras out there“. The Galaxy Note 7 is the best no-compromise, big-screen phone you can buy if price is no object. All but the most devoted stylus lovers, however, will do just as well with the cheaper S7 models.

CNET’s Jessica Dolcourt thinks that the Galaxy Note 7 is a beautiful, capable Android phone that showcases Samsung’s best in design, battery life, speed and features. However, she thinks that there are still minor problems writing with the S Pen stylus.

Mashable’s review of the Galaxy Note 7 praised its big, bright display and long-lasting battery life. They think that it has the best in class camera and that its iris scanner is cool but gimmicky.
The Note 7 is a great phone. It’s in keeping with Samsung’s winning 2016 formula: Do more—in more places—with bigger screens, better cameras and more storage.

Joanna Stern praised the Galaxy Note 7′s S Pen in her review that has been published on Wall Street Journal. She also thought that the camera on Samsung’s latest phablet is better than the ones found on the Apple iPhone 6s and 6s Plus.
We generally hesitate to call any one phone “the best,” and in this review we might have contemplated it.

Android Authority’s Joshua Vergara praised the Note 7‘s symmetrical design, high-end display, IP68 certification, performance, S Pen, and camera. However, he thought that the loudspeaker could’ve been better and that features can be overwhelming.
The Note 7 promised much and delivers on most of those promises, but it’s not quite the perfect handset that many people expected or wished for.

Forbes’ by Ewan Spence wasn’t as impressed as others by the Galaxy Note 7. He thought the device performed well by users should base their buying decision on how much they plan to use the S Pen. He wasn’t impressed with the iris scanner on the Note 7.
We have no doubt that Samsung has a winner on its hands with the Galaxy Note7.

The folks over at GSMArena were quite impressed with every aspect of the Galaxy Note 7 except the iris scanner. They felt that a user would feel awkward holding the device near their face for iris scanning.
The Galaxy Note 7 is an almost incomprehensibly versatile smartphone. It can do so much right out of the box!

PhoneArena’s Ray S was quite happy with the Galaxy Note 7′s flashy looks, superb hardware, extremely versatile software, and the S Pen. However, he says in his review that the Note 7′s iris scanner is unreliable and the functionality of its ‘edge screen’ is useless.
The Galaxy Note 7 combines so many superpowers—its camera, its display, its security features, its VR capabilities, its sleek and stylish looks—that it might be worth it.

Wired.com’s Tim Moynihan was impressed with the Galaxy Note 7′s display, camera, security features, VR capabilities, and battery life so much so that he says, “At the very least, it [Galaxy Note 7] makes smartphones exciting again” in his review.
In short, the Note 7 is the best phone Samsung makes, and for a lot of people, the it’s the best Android phone you can buy.

Michael Nunez from Gizmodo reviewed the Galaxy Note 7 and came off impressed with it. He notes in his review that the Galaxy Note 7 has the best camera that he has ever used and that the “screen [is] freaking beautiful“. He thinks that the iris scanner on the Note 7 is crazy and that “it feels like the future.”
