Android 7.0 Nougat beta firmware for Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge released in China

Samsung confirmed the launch of the Galaxy Beta Program last week. It’s allowing owners of the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 edge in select markets to register for a chance to try Android 7.0 Nougat beta firmware. The program has already gone live in the United States, United Kingdom and South Korea. Samsung did say that it will eventually be expanded to China as well, and now it has. Android 7.0 Nougat beta firmware for the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge for Galaxy Beta Program members in China.

The beta firmware allows users to experience Android 7.0 Nougat as well as Samsung’s new UX. Beta program members can then provide the company with feedback to help improve the experience. An active Samsung Account is required to sign up for the program prior to downloading the Galaxy Beta Program app for registration. The end date of this program is going to vary by country.

Samsung is now rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat beta for the Galaxy Beta Program members in China. The update weighs in at 1.4GB.
