PSA: The Galaxy A3 (2017), Galaxy A5 (2017) and Galaxy A7 (2017) ship with Secure Folder on board

Samsung’s latest smartphones — the Galaxy A3 (2017), Galaxy A5 (2017) and Galaxy A7 (2017) — all ship with Secure Folder on board. For those unaware, the feature, which debuted on the Galaxy Note 7, allows users to hide personal files, including documents, images and videos, behind an encrypted firewall to prevent prying eyes from gaining access to their sensitive information.

It would certainly appear that the South Korean company is gradually making all of the exclusive software functions that launched on the Galaxy Note 7 default on its new devices. It previously bundled Secure Folder on the Galaxy J7 Prime out of the box and is reportedly considering making it a downloadable feature on the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge with the upcoming Android 7.0 Nougat update.
