YouTube TV is a standalone TV streaming service. It enables subscribers to watch live TV from more than 40 networks, including full lineups from FOX, CBS, ABC, NBC, ESPN and more.

The service costs $35 per month and unlike conventional cable services, it doesn’t require a contract. Subscribers get a cloud DVR with no storage limits and six accounts per household.

The YouTube TV app is available for a variety of platforms including mobile and connected TV devices. Having the app on Samsung smart TVs helps YouTube expand the service’s reach. Samsung is the dominant player in the TV industry after all.

YouTube TV will eventually get support for 2014 and 2015 Samsung smart TV models as well. For now, those who own a recent model in the US can start streaming YouTube TV.
