Galaxy J5 Prime (2017) could ship with Exynos 7570 CPU, 3GB of RAM

The successor to the Galaxy J5 Prime could ship with a 5-inch IPS HD screen, an Exynos 7570 Octa CPU and 3GB of RAM, reveals a dubious-looking specification sheet that was posted on leak aggregator SlashLeaks on Saturday, December 2.

Other notable (purported) internals include a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, an 8-megapixel front-facing shooter and a 2,500mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery. The Galaxy J5 Prime (2017) is also expected to ship running Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

This news comes less than a week after the handset was spotted on the Federal Communication Commission’s online database, leading us to believe that it will hit the shelves in at least one region—India, for example—before the year’s out.

That’s about all we know about the Galaxy J5 Prime (2017). The unit, which was first discovered alongside the upcoming Galaxy J2 Pro (2017), should be priced somewhere in the region of Rs. 16,000 ($250) when it’s inevitably released in India.
