Samsung announces Samsung Developer Conference 2019 agenda

It’s almost time for Samsung’s annual Developer Conference, and the Korean giant has now announced the agenda it has planned for this year’s event. SDC 2019 will kick off at the San Jose Convention Center in California on October 29 and go on for two days, and as revealed by Samsung, the company will be focusing on things like Bixby, Smart TVs, One UI, 5G, and cryptocurrency. As expected, DJ Koh will open the event with a general look at Samsung’s plans for the future, followed by hands-on sessions for developers and several keynotes.

Oddly enough, Samsung doesn’t mention the Galaxy Fold, but the company is no doubt going to have a session or two to show developers how they can develop and optimize their apps for the company’s foldable phone now that it’s actually going to be in the hands of consumers. Samsung will also be talking about One UI and “how it’s designed to provide easy-to-use, intuitive experiences for the users across the Galaxy ecosystem,” but as we had revealed earlier this week, we may not have to wait until SDC for Samsung’s official announcement of the Android 10 beta program for the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10.

It is possible that the company will not release the actual test software for users before SDC, although we have our fingers crossed that won’t be the case. We’ll be keeping an eye out on further developments on the Android 10 front and will also be on the ground at SDC next month to bring you live coverage of everything that goes down at the event.
