Galaxy F41 gets a new update with September 2021 security patch

Samsung started rolling out the September 2021 security update in late August, and the Galaxy S20 FE was the first phone to get that update. Over the past three weeks, the company has released the new security update to various high-end and mid-range smartphones. Now, the South Korean firm has released the update to the Galaxy F41.

The Galaxy F41 has started getting a new software update in India. It comes with firmware version F415FXXU1BUH7 and includes the September 2021 security patch. Samsung had revealed last week that its latest security patch fixes over 50 privacy and security-related vulnerabilities. The new update for the Galaxy F41 might also include general bug fixes and devices stability improvements.

If you are a Galaxy F41 user in India, you might have already received the new security update. If you haven’t, you can check for the update manually by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also opt to flash the new firmware manually, but you would need to download the latest firmware file from our firmware database to do that.

Samsung had launched the Galaxy F41 in mid-2020 with Android 10-based One UI 2.5. The mid-range smartphone received the Android 11-based One UI 3 update a few months ago. It will get at least one more Android OS update in the future.
