Samsung launches the Galaxy Grand Prime 4G In India for INR 11,100

Samsung has launched the Galaxy Grand Prime 4G in India today with the handset carrying a price tag of INR 11,000 – that’s around $175. The 4G variant of this smartphone was unveiled alongside the Galaxy Core Prime 4G and Galaxy J1 4G in February this year, back then Samsung said that the devices will go on sale by March. There appears to have been a delay because the Galaxy Core Prime 4G was only released in June while the Galaxy J1 4G has still not been released.

Today the Galaxy Grand Prime 4G has finally been outed in India, it brings the number of 4G LTE capable models on offer from Samsung in India to 14. This dual-SIM capable device has more or less the same specifications as its 3G variant save for Band 3 and Band 40 LTE support as well as Android 5.1. The Galaxy Grand Prime 4G features a 5-inch qHD display with 540×960 pixels, a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage and a microSD card slot. It also has an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera as well as a 2600mAh battery.
