Samsung has sent out press invites for an event in India, and it is expected that the company might launch the Gear S2 in India. The event is scheduled to happen at 12:30PM IST on October 14 in Gurgaon. However, we are not too sure whether the company will launch the Gear S2 or any other smartphone.
The Gear S2 was unveiled during IFA 2015 last month, and the officials from the company hinted its towards its Indian launch when Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 5 in India. The Gear S2 is the company’s first smartwatch with a circular display, and competes with various Android Wear-based smartwatches and the Apple Watch.

The Gear S2 features a 1.2-inch fully circular Super AMOLED display (360 x 360 pixels), a 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage, Tizen-based operating system, a rotatable bezels, heart-rate monitor, NFC-based payments through Samsung Pay, and a 250 mAh battery.
