Tip: You can set multiple lock screen wallpapers on Marshmallow on Samsung devices

We have constantly been coming across neat little touches Samsung has made to the software on the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge and also on Marshmallow for existing devices, and as SamMobile China discovered, you can set multiple wallpapers for the lock screen at the same time on Samsung devices running the latest version of Android.

You can set up to 30 images from your gallery as the lock screen wallpaper, and each time you turn on the screen, you will see a different background. Nice, right? To use the feature, head into the Wallpaper menu in your device’s settings, and switch to Lock screen from Home Screen from the drop-down menu at the top. Then, hit the From Gallery option down below to open the gallery app. Here, select the images you need, then hit the DONE option the top of the screen.

You will be thrown back into the settings menu, with your new lock screen background images now set. Just turn the screen off and on a couple of times to see all those images show up one after the other. In case you are wondering, you can’t set multiple pictures for the home screen wallpaper. But hey, maybe we’ll get that with Android N.
