Galaxy Note 8 specs revealed in benchmark results

It’s only a matter of time before Samsung officially confirms the Galaxy Note 8 specs. There’s already plenty of information floating online about the new handset. The Galaxy Note 8 has now surfaced on the GFXBench benchmarking website where it has revealed its specifications.

As expected, the Galaxy Note 8 is powered by an Exynos 8895 processor with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. This will be Samsung’s first flagship smartphone to be released with 6GB of RAM in all markets.

Samsung has previously released variants of other flagship smartphones with 6GB RAM but they’ve remained limited to select markets. The 6.4-inch 2960×1440 pixel resolution display is listed in the result as well. An ARM Mali-G71 graphics processor will be onboard as well.

Samsung is going to unveil the Galaxy Note 8 at an event in New York City on August 23. Reports suggest that it may be available in stores the very next day, at least in the United States. Samsung will also unveil a new Gear Fit2 Pro wearable device alongside the new flagship device.

Pricing and availability information hasn’t been made public so far, Samsung will confirm these details at its event later this month. Reports suggest that it may cost north of 1000 Euro in some markets.
