Galaxy A21s can now be reserved in Germany, one day ahead of release

Samsung Germany spilled the beans on the Galaxy A21s today and confirmed that the phone’s exact release has been scheduled for June 19. Indeed, customers in Germany will be able to buy the Galaxy A21s tomorrow from the company’s online shop and select retail partners. Much like in other European countries such as the Netherlands, the Galaxy A21s in Germany will cost 209 euros.

The Galaxy A21s is a rather unusual device in Samsung’s portfolio. Not because of its characteristics but on account of it being released ahead of the smartphone model upon which it was supposed to improve, i.e., the Galaxy A21. But while the latter device seemingly remains scheduled for a summer release, the Galaxy A21s is already hitting the shelves in numerous countries around the world, becoming one of Samsung’s most recent budget-conscious smartphones.

Samsung Germany is now listing the Galaxy A21s on its e-shop where buyers can reserve the device in black, blue, or white. The phone features dual SIM capabilities, 32GB of storage expandable via microSD through a dedicated slot, 3GB of RAM, Bluetooth 5.0 LE, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB-C connector.

The Galaxy A21s has a 6.5-inch PLS TFT LCD with an Infinity-O corner cutout and resolution of 1600 by 720 pixels, and also carries a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner rather than an under-display module. The back panel features a quad-camera setup with a 48MP main shooter and a 2MP macro sensor. These components rely on a 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging, and Samsung claims users should be getting up to 21 hours of video playback on a single charge.
