Unlocked Galaxy Note 4 (32GB) 48% off at EBay

The Galaxy Note 4 may be seven months old, but it’s still one of the best smartphones on the market if you’re looking for a wide screen, stylus functionality, and a stellar camera experience. The Galaxy S6 and S6 edge are gorgeous devices, but they’re not

for everyone (with TouchWiz being scaled down, many Note fans will wait to spend their money on Samsung’s phablet darling.

Here at SamMobile, we enjoy a good eBay deal here and there, and today’s eBay deal is no different. If you’re looking to get a solid Note 4 off-contract and unlocked (with no specific carrier ties), look no further than the top 2014 device at 48% off. That brings the price tag from $899.99 to $469.99, a savings of $430. For US customers, you’ll get to use this on both T-Mobile and AT&T networks, so take your pick (or just go with both).

The Note 4 turned heads when Samsung unveiled the high-end productivity smartphone/tablet hybrid back in September 2014. It came with a 3.7MP front camera with wide-angle selfie (or “We-fie”) capability, a 16MP back camera that debuted optical image stabilization (or OIS) in Samsung smartphones for the first time, an aluminum metal band that “broke tradition” from the faux metal of devices past. To add to the Note 4’s impressive spec sheet, the device came with Qualcomm’s quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM, and a minimum 32GB of storage with a microSD card slot that provides an additional 128GB of storage.

The seller, qualitycellz, has a 99% positive feedback, so you should be fine. It’s best to go ahead and take advantage of this deal while supplies last. Depending on Samsung’s Galaxy Note 5 September announcement, you may be glad you snagged one.

Vodacom Galaxy S6, S6 edge pricing now available

The Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge are just three days away from their official worldwide launch now, but so many individuals interested in the devices want to know what it’ll cost to pay for the device outright or sign a two-year agreement. South African carrier Vodacom is back to provide its own pricing scheme for the two devices.

The entry-level model, the 32GB Galaxy S6, will cost R12,399 ($199 USD) for South African customers, but you can get the device on a monthly payment plan for R529 ($8.49) if you take advantage of Vodacom’s Smart S plan which provides 75 minutes, 200 text messages, and 200MB of monthly data for R199 monthly ($3.19 USD).

The 64GB Galaxy S6 edge will retail for R16,149 ($259.28 USD) or R679 per month ($10.90 USD) with Vodacom’s Smart S plan.

Both the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge will come in Black Sapphire, White Pearl, and Gold Platinum versions. There is no word on whether or not you can expect the Emerald Green Galaxy S6 edge.

Vodacom has stated that it will provide a free wireless charger and cover (worth R1,100) for both the S6 and S6 edge when the devices go on sale in the region on April 10th.

The Galaxy S6 and S6 edge are Korean manufacturer Samsung’s latest mobile devices that provide a 5.1-inch, Super AMOLED display with a 2,560 x 1,440p resolution (higher than 1080p), a 5MP front camera and 16MP back camera, both with f/1.9 apertures, the company’s own homegrown octa-core, Exynos 7420 processor that is on a planet of its own, with a 2,550mAh battery that should provide around 13-15 hours of normal use. We’ve received word that light usage should get users 3 days, although the nearly 3.7 million pixels in the display alone will be enough to drain your battery.

Vodacom South Africa customers, what say you? Are you ready to see the devices on April 10th?
