Here’s when the Galaxy A21s will be launched in India

The Galaxy A21s, which was unveiled last month, will soon be launched in India. We had reported the rumored pricing of the smartphone for the Indian market last week, but the phone’s launch date wasn’t confirmed. Now, Samsung has announced the launch date for its upcoming Galaxy A series device.

The South Korean tech giant has published a teaser video of the Galaxy A21s through its Twitter account for the Indian market and mentioned that the phone will be launched in India on June 17. The company is marketing the battery life of the Galaxy A21s as one of its most important features. The phone has already been launched in Brazil, Russia, Spain, the Netherlands, and Vietnam.

Galaxy A21s specs, rumored price

The Galaxy A21s features a 6.5-inch Infinity-O LCD display with HD+ resolution (1600×720 pixels). The phone has a rear-facing fingerprint reader and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The phone runs Android 10 with One UI 2 and is equipped with the 8nm Exynos 850 processor. It has 4GB/6GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot.

The selfie camera on the Galaxy A21s has a resolution of 13 megapixels. At the rear, the device has a quad-camera setup consisting of a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro camera. Connectivity features include GPS, dual-SIM LTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

A 5,000mAh battery powers the phone and it charges rapidly via a 15W charger. Other features include Bixby, Face Unlock, Samsung Health, and Samsung Pay. The phone is rumored to be priced at INR 16,999 and INR 18,999 for the 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM variants, respectively.

Samsung unveils BTS-themed Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy Buds+

Two weeks after early rumors started swirling, Samsung has unveiled BTS editions of the Galaxy S20+ 5G, Galaxy S20+, and the Galaxy Buds+ in collaboration with the K-Pop music band BTS. These devices come in purple and have the BTS logo as well as the purple heart iconography. They also come with decorative stickers and seven photo cards, allowing fans to connect more closely with their favorite band.

The Galaxy S20+ 5G BTS Edition, Galaxy S20+ BTS Edition, and the Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition will be available for pre-order from Samsung’s website starting June 19. Fans in South Korea and the US can also pre-order the Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition from Weverse beginning June 15. The devices will also be available in the US via Amazon.

In South Korea, the Galaxy S20+ 5G BTS Edition is priced at KRW 1.397 million (around $1,155), while the Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition earphones are priced at KRW 220,000 (around $181). Lucky fans who pre-order one of these devices get a chance to win a free limited-edition BTS poster. Pricing of these devices hasn’t been confirmed for the US market

The special-edition devices will be widely available from July 9, marking the seventh anniversary of BTS A.R.M.Y, the music band’s fan collective. Those who buy both the Galaxy S20+ 5G BTS Edition and the Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition in the US get two free BTS posters. Galaxy Buds+ pre-orders come with a BTS-themed wireless charger.

The BTS-themed Galaxy S20+ 5G and Galaxy S20+ feature Haze Purple glass and metal bodies. They also come pre-installed with BTS-inspired themes, wallpapers, and the fan community platform Weverse. Fans also get decorative stickers and photo cards of BTS members with 5G and LTE variants of the limited-edition Galaxy S20+ and the Galaxy Buds+. These devices will also be launched in Europe.

The South Korean smartphone brand collaborated with BTS for marketing the Galaxy S20 series and promoted its devices through various videos. The Galaxy S20+ BTS Edition and the Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition were leaked last week.
