December security update released for the Galaxy Fold and Galaxy S9

The list of Galaxy devices that have been updated with the December 2019 security patch has become a bit longer today, with Samsung now releasing the latest security update for the Galaxy Fold and the Galaxy S9 in various markets. The Galaxy Fold update is rolling out in France at this time, while the Galaxy S9 and S9+ are getting the December update in as many as 15 European countries.

For Galaxy Fold owners in France, the December update comes just a week and a day after the previous software update, which introduced DeX for PC support to the foldable device. Meanwhile, 5G variants of the Galaxy Fold have not even been updated with the DeX update, once again showing how support for the Galaxy Fold 5G has been rather lackluster. Samsung will probably end up combining the two updates for the 5G variant, although it remains to be seen when the resulting update will actually arrive.

The Galaxy Fold and Galaxy S9 December updates come with software version F900FXXS2ASKC and G96*FXXS7CSK4 respectively. No new features are included in these updates, only the latest security fixes that Samsung detailed earlier this week. To download the update over the air, open the Settings app on your device, tap Software update, then select Download and install. Alternatively, download the latest firmware from our firmware archive and install it on your Fold/S9/S9+ using a computer.

Galaxy S11+ could be just as big as the Galaxy Note 10+

Earlier this week, leaked images of what was supposedly a screen protector for the Galaxy S11 showed us that it could have a centered punch hole in the display and a rather tiny bottom bezel like the Galaxy Note 10. Now, someone has compared that screen protector against a Galaxy Note 10+, revealing that the largest Galaxy S11 model could pretty much have the same dimensions.

Well, the Galaxy S11+ seems to be a tad more compact judging by the first image you see below, but that doesn’t mean it will be considerably better to hold and use with one hand compared to the Galaxy Note 10+. And it also remains to be seen if this screen protector belongs to the Galaxy S11 or Galaxy S11+. Rumors say the S11 and S11+ are expected to have a 6.7-inch and 6.9-inch display respectively, and that means the largest Galaxy S11 may end up being slightly bigger than the Note 10+ in overall dimensions despite a taller aspect ratio.

Unfortunately, there’s no way to be sure of anything at this time. Speculations based on screen protectors months before a flagship is to be announced don’t always pan out, and we can only wait for more concrete leaks and information to surface before we can get a clearer picture. For now, we’re keeping track of all the Galaxy S11 rumors and leaks in this dedicated article, which you should bookmark if you are interested in Samsung’s next flagship smartphone.

Galaxy Tab Active Pro Enterprise Edition with LTE goes live in the UK

The Galaxy Tab Active Pro is launching in the UK as an Enterprise Edition device optimized for businesses. The slate is now available for purchase for an undisclosed price unless you fill out a form in the name of your company, however, the consumer variant with LTE capabilities was officially introduced in Germany for €679 a few months ago; therefore, the Enterprise Edition likely carries an equivalent price tag in the UK.

What makes the Galaxy Tab Active Pro a perfect Enterprise tablet?

There are a handful of features that make the Galaxy Tab Active Pro a great choice for business customers. For starters, it’s a rugged device boasting a MIL-STD 810G build with IP68 dust and water resistance.

Additionally, the tablet is compatible with Samsung DeX, so it can offer a PC-like experience with or without a PC nearby. Likewise, Samsung’s Knox security platform ensures easy management and deployment of security patches across a company, while the inclusion of an S Pen opens up a lot of possibilities for improved productivity.

As for the usual specs, the Galaxy Tab Active Pro Enterprise Edition should sport the same internals as the consumer variant, except it seems to be available only in LTE flavor. Otherwise, the spec sheet should include the same 10.1-inch display with a pixel count of 1920 by 1200, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of on-board memory expandable by up to 512GB via microSD.

Business customers who are interested in the Galaxy Tab Active Pro Enterprise Edition can visit Samsung UK and fill out a form to request a callback.

Galaxy A91 leaked renders highlight Samsung’s new design direction

Samsung is preparing its Galaxy A (2020) series for release and we already know what the new models will be called. The Galaxy A91 will be one of the more premium models in the new series. Unofficial CAD renders of the Galaxy A91 have been leaked online today. They highlight the new design direction that Samsung is taking with the Galaxy A series.

It’s evident that the center punch hole will be trickling down from the Galaxy Note 10 to the Galaxy A series as well. The new L-shaped array for the rear camera will also be a mainstay across the upcoming series. It’s also going to figure on the Galaxy S11 as well.

Leaked renders of the Galaxy A91 have surfaced online

The design is very Samsung-esque overall with a curved display and rounded corners. All of the physical buttons are placed on the right side of the frame much like it’s expected to be on the Galaxy S11.

The leak’s source isn’t sure of the camera setup on the Galaxy A91, though, as some renders show a triple camera system and others a quad camera. We heard that it’s going to have a triple-camera system with a 48-megapixel primary sensor and OIS, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. It will also come with a 32-megapixel front camera.

The absence of a fingerprint sensor suggests that there’s going to be an in-display sensor. There’s also no headphone jack in sight which isn’t surprising at all. We exclusively confirmed the Galaxy A91 specs two months ago. It’s going to feature a Snapdragon 855 with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

It will also feature a 6.7-inch Full HD+ display. The Galaxy A91 will feature a 4,500mAh battery and support for 45W fast charging. It’s unclear if this charger will come with the phone or if we’ll need to buy it separately as we do for the Galaxy Note 10+.

We also reported that the Galaxy A91 is being developed with Android 10. This means that it may not be released before the Galaxy S11. There’s some evidence to suggest that this model may actually be launched as the Galaxy S10 Lite in a few markets.

The uncertainty surrounding its release should clear up in the coming weeks. Samsung does have an announcement lined up for the Galaxy A (2020) series on December 12 in Vietnam. However, it’s unlikely that the Galaxy A91 will be making an appearance there.

AKG Y600NC could be out soon and double as a Samsung freebie in 2020

AKG is seemingly working on a new pair of wireless headphones called the Y600NC, and they might be just around the corner. Indirectly confirmed previously by the Korean company via the Smart Things app, the AKG Y600NC doesn’t have an exact launch date, but support for the new model appears to have been added to the AKG Headphone mobile app. It was recently updated on the Play Store with a new description for the unreleased AKG Y600NC, hinting that the product could launch very soon.

What’s exciting about the so-called AKG Y600NC is the history of the Y500NC and how the new model could follow a similar path. The AKG Y500KG has been used by Samsung as an incentive and was included as a freebie numerous times alongside various Galaxy smartphones in different markets, including the Galaxy S8 and S9 series, the Galaxy S10e, and different Galaxy A (2019) models.

The AKG Y600NC could become an incentive for Samsung’s 2020 smartphones

Based on preliminary information and the images we have so far, the AKG Y600NC should refine the existing Y500NC formula while boasting larger earcups with memory foam cushioning and zinc-alloy hinge rotators.

The official product description which appears to have been mistakenly added to the AKG Headphone app on the Play Store explains how the AKG Y600NC should provide up 25 hours of music playback via Bluetooth with Active Noise Cancellation enabled.

Unsurprisingly, the description also confirms that the upcoming headphones will be fully supported by Samsung’s ecosystem and the Bixby platform.

The app description does not include any availability and pricing details, but there is a possibility that the AKG Y600NC might be launched early next year (or even earlier) just in time to become an incentive for the Galaxy S11 and Galaxy A (2020) series.

Do you use the ongoing AKG Y500 headphones? If so, are there any aspects in particular that you would like to see improved? Leave a comment below.

Samsung tops global TV shipments chart in Q3, followed by close rival LG

Global TV shipments were down 1.9% year-on-year at the end of the third quarter, yet Samsung managed to increase its TV shipments by 6.8% YoY. Samsung is, once again, the top TV vendor in the world, having shipped 10.41 million units in the third quarter alone.

The company increased its TV sales from the second quarter of the year when it recorded 8.9 million shipments. However, its closest rival LG is keeping up the pace as well, having shipped 7.44 million units in Q3, up from 5.94 million in Q2.

Samsung maintains its lead in the TV segment

Samsung shipped a good portion of all of the TVs that have reached the market in the third quarter. Total shipments have reached 54.97 million, and Samsung TVs accounted for roughly 20% of that. With Black Friday behind us and the holiday shopping season just around the corner, TrendForce estimates that global TV shipments will rise to around 65.5 million units in the fourth quarter of 2019.

It remains to be seen if Samsung will maintain its top spot in the global market, but if anyone has a chance of challenging the tech giant, it’s going to be LG. The rivalry between Samsung and LG has been heating up lately, to the point where the latter company has launched a direct attack on LG’s OLED TVs through its YouTube channel as a way to influence prospective buyers into avoiding LG’s solution.

Samsung seemingly has big plans for 2020 as well. The company is said to prepare a new TV lineup for CES 2020, one that could adopt deep-learning AI solutions to improve 8K upscaling as well as audio quality.

Are you in the market for a new TV or have you already bought one on Black Friday? Will you buy one by the end of the year, or are you going to wait for the 2020 series to be introduced at CES? Join us in the comment section.

Samsung Galaxy Buds+ earbuds may feature active noise cancellation

Samsung is expected to launch new wireless earbuds alongside the Galaxy S11. That’s because the Galaxy Buds were launched with the Galaxy S10 in February this year. So the expectation is that there will be new earbuds with the Galaxy S11.

We are aware that Samsung has new earbuds in development under model number SM-R175. A new hint about the device suggests that Samsung will call it the Galaxy Buds+. There’s also a possibility of active noise cancellation being onboard.

Galaxy Buds+ may be what Samsung calls its wireless new earbuds

There is little information available about Samsung’s new wireless earbuds at this point in time. We do know that they’re being developed with 8GB of onboard storage. That’s the same as the original. The available color options will include white, silver, black and yellow.

Noted leakster @evleaks dropped a hint on his Twitter today. “First came the AirPods Pro… then came the Galaxy Buds+,” it reads. There are two conclusions that can be drawn from this tweet. The obvious one is that Samsung’s new wireless earbuds might be called the Galaxy Buds+ and not the Galaxy Buds 2.

The second is that they may feature active noise cancellation (ANC). That’s because ANC is one of the primary new features of Apple’s earbuds. So Samsung might add that to the Galaxy Buds+ as well in order to differentiate it from the Galaxy Buds. It may also make subtle design changes for a more comfortable fit.

We mentioned in our Galaxy Buds review that the device offers good value for money. It remains to be seen if the addition of ANC is going to drive the price up significantly from the $129.99 price tag of the original. That may not concern most people who end up pre-ordering a Galaxy S11. If history repeats itself, Samsung will be offering a pair of the Galaxy Buds+ to everyone who pre-orders its upcoming flagship.

Galaxy Movie Studio teaches aspiring filmmakers how to get better results

Samsung Indonesia wants to help aspiring filmmakers on their journey with the launch of Galaxy Movie Studio – an educational platform meant to teach people how to get the best out of their smartphone cameras and improve their filmmaking process from pre-production to post-production.

According to The Jakarta Post, the platform consists of online and offline courses presented by film experts Joko Anwar, Yandy Laurens, and Sammaria Simanjuntak, who showcase the best use cases for the various camera features boasted by the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10 series.

Galaxy phones can be great tools for beginner filmmakers and content creators

Samsung flagship smartphones are capable enough to create short films, at the very least, and Yandy Laurens revealed that he had used the Galaxy S10 to create short clips before. He claims that modern smartphone cameras can sometimes be used as an alternative to professional solutions, but aspiring filmmakers need to always identify the strengths and weaknesses of the device to get the most out of it, whether it’s a smartphone or a professional shooter.

Meanwhile, Joko Anwar revealed that he uses the Galaxy Note 10 S Pen to jot down ideas that sometimes become full-fledged scripts. The Galaxy Note 10 series comes with a plethora of productivity tools empowered by the S Pen, and Samsung Notes is probably the most complete solution out of the bunch. The flagship can be a great ally for anyone who possesses a sense of creativity that can burst out at random times, as it provides a quick way to jot down notes or create rough sketches on the go.

There is more to filmmaking and content creation than writing a solid script and using the proper gear, however. Sammaria Simanjuntak explains more about the editing and post-production process, highlighting how details such as music and color tones can have a tremendous effect on the mood of a film. You might have all the right ingredients, but it’s also extremely important to know how to put them all together.

The Galaxy Movie Studio online courses will be available on YouTube Indonesia (above), and the program will remain open throughout December. Readers in Indonesia who might be interested in Galaxy Movie Studio can also check Samsung’s Instagram page to stay up to date with further developments.

December security update released for unlocked Galaxy Note 10 in the US

Samsung has released the December security update for the unlocked Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ in the US. The company also pushed out the December update for the Galaxy S10 series earlier today at the same time as the Galaxy S10’s Android 10 update is rolling out in other countries, so it will probably be a few weeks before either of Samsung’s 2019 flagship lineups get the Android 10 update in the US.

To Samsung’s credit, the company has managed to release the latest security update for the US unlocked Galaxy Note 10 (and Galaxy S10) quite fast. Samsung also detailed the contents of the December 2019 security patch earlier than it usually details a new security patch. The December patch fixes six critical vulnerabilities in the Android OS and 13 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures that were discovered in the company’s own software.

The December update doesn’t bring any new features, only the latest security patch. You should be able to download it on your Note 10 or Note 10+ over the air from the Settings » Software update menu on the phone. If the OTA isn’t available for you, you can update your device by flashing the latest firmware on it using a Windows PC. You can download firmware for the Galaxy Note 10 and many other Galaxy devices from our firmware archive.

Samsung’s 2020 TVs could leverage AI to set new audio quality standards

A glimpse of Samsung’s upcoming TV lineup may have been given by a handful of new trademark applications for Samsung Symphony, Q-Symphony, and Samsung Symphony TV. They indicate that the company’s next year TV series which is set to make an appearance at CES 2020 will place great importance on audio quality and will leverage AI to deliver a personalized audio experience.

Samsung’s next TVs to set new standards for audio quality

According to an ETNews report, Samsung’s upcoming TVs will be able to use their own internal speakers in conjunction with a soundbar. Normally, you could have one or the other but never use both sound sources simultaneously.

This could change as upcoming TVs based on Samsung Symphony TV technology – or however this alleged new feature will be named – will be capable of analyzing your audio setup and determine, through AI, which of the TVs internal speakers should be enabled along with your existing soundbar to give you the best possible audio experience.

Think of it as a way for your TV’s internal speakers to help your soundbar reach frequency ranges it would otherwise be incapable of reaching. Samsung’s future TVs will reportedly come with three of these internal speakers, each covering different frequency ranges. The system will be powered by AI, which is unsurprising given the recent news about Samsung preparing to apply deep-learning AI solutions to its CES 2020 TV lineup. Deep-learning solutions generally allow for better image processing as well as better sound recognition.

Samsung India’s profit declines sharply even as revenue touches $10 billion

Samsung’s business across product categories has seen a dramatic decline in China in recent years. Having learned a few lessons, the company has been cautious not to let a similar debacle happen in India so far. It has been aggressively fighting Chinese rivals on many fronts to retain its dominance in the vast Indian market.

Despite its best efforts, Samsung’s performance in India appears to be a mixed bag going by the latest regulatory filings made by the company. According to these official documents, Samsung India’s net profit declined by a whopping 58% to Rs 1,540.5 crore in 2018-19. Last year, the company posted a net profit of Rs 3,712.8 crore in the country.

On the bright side, Samsung India’s total revenue went up by 20% from Rs 61,065.6 in FY18 to Rs 73,085.9 crore in 2018-19, making it a $10 billion firm. Revenue from operations rose to Rs 70,627.7 crore, up 19% from Rs 59,370.9 crore posted in the previous fiscal. The company’s total expenses have also gone up from Rs 55,283.8 crore to Rs 70,227.8 crore during the same period.

It’s not difficult to understand why Samsung India’s profit tanked even as the total revenue touched $10 billion. More than 60% (Rs 43,087.98 crore) of its revenue from operations came from mobile phones, a category where the company has been sacrificing profit margins to fight low-cost Chinese competitors like Xiaomi, OnePlus, Realme, etc.

Samsung India’s revenue from the audio-visual category in FY19 stood at 5,015.7 crore, while home appliances accounted for Rs 7,408.2 crore during the same period. These product categories don’t suffer the same level of competition as mobile phones, allowing Samsung relatively more freedom to charge higher prices and improve profitability.

Galaxy A50 fingerprint issue fixed with the December update

We first reported about the Galaxy A50 fingerprint issue three weeks ago. Samsung had released an update for the device about a month ago. The irony of it was that this update was supposed to improve fingerprint recognition on the Galaxy A50.

It ended up breaking the fingerprint registration process. Samsung is now rolling out a new firmware update for the Galaxy A50. Not only does it bring the December 2019 security patch, but it also fixes the fingerprint issue on the device.

December 2019 update also fixes the Galaxy A50 fingerprint issue

The fingerprint registration process was broken in firmware versions A505FNXXS3ASK9 and A505FDDS3ASK8. It would read the fingerprint normally until the process reached 41 percent completion. It would either require too many attempts to finish the registration or simply throw up an error that said “Make sure the fingerprint sensor is clean and dry, then try again”.

Users were caught unaware as the update had advised them to re-register their fingerprint to benefit from the improvements. However, they couldn’t re-register their fingerprints after deleting them. We received many reports from affected users and were able to reproduce the issue on our own device.

Samsung is now rolling out the December 2019 security patch for the Galaxy A50 and a handful of other devices. The update for the Galaxy A50 also fixes this issue. Those who were unable to re-register their fingerprints on the device will be able to do that once they get the latest update. The firmware version A505FDDU3ASKA is gradually rolling out. It’s also available for download from our firmware section.

Photo confirms one of Samsung Galaxy Fold 2’s batteries is tiny

There’s a lot of anticipation for Samsung’s next foldable smartphone. Reports suggest that the next model has a clamshell form factor. It’s also expected to be unveiled in the coming months, possibly alongside the Galaxy S11 in February 2020.

One of the two batteries in Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Fold 2 is very small, as a picture of that battery confirms. This is the umpteenth hint that the device will sport a clamshell-like form factor, unlike the first-generation Galaxy Fold.

Galaxy Fold 2 has at least one tiny battery

Some time ago, we received word that Samsung’s next foldable device will have two batteries, just like the first one. However, one of those was rumored to have a rated capacity of a mere 900mAh, due to the device’s clamshell-like design. A Korean certification now confirms the small size of precisely that battery.

Over at the database of SafetyKorea, a battery can now be found sporting model number EB-F701ABY. The listing includes a photograph that is too unsharp to reveal the precise capacity, but it is immediately clear this battery is very small. This fits with a device that consists of two body parts, one of which must also house a camera module. The battery is manufactured by Samsung SDI in Vietnam.

samsung galaxy fold 2 small battery eb-bf701aby

While we can expect the other, as yet uncovered EB-BF700ABY, battery to be bigger than the one pictured here, chances are the Galaxy Fold 2 will simply not have a huge battery. After all, the compact nature of a clamshell-like form factor leaves much less room for power cells than a normal smartphone body.

Foldable but affordable

The Galaxy Fold 2, which will likely not be called this when Samsung launches it in the Spring of 2020, is expected to be quite a bit cheaper than the first Galaxy Fold. Currently, it’s being reported that this device will possible retail price of only $845, which might help Samsung sell its projected six million foldable devices next year. One of the unavoidable trade-offs may turn out to be battery capacity, as hinted at by the above picture power cell.

Unlocked Galaxy S10 and A50 get December security update in the US

Samsung has started rolling out the December 2019 security update for the unlocked Galaxy S10 series and A50 and in the US. The Galaxy A50 was the first Samsung device to receive the latest monthly patch when the company kickstarted the rollout in Israel last week. It is now making the same update available for the US variants as well.

The Galaxy S10 lineup, on the other hand, is receiving the December security release as part of the Android 10 update in a few markets. However, the update is available only for the Exynos-powered Galaxy S10 models so far, leaving the Snapdragon versions in the US and other regions waiting. In the US, Samsung is now rolling out the December security patch directly instead of waiting for the Android 10 release. This could be an indirect confirmation that the Galaxy S10 lineup in the US may not receive the Android 10 update this month.

According to Samsung, the December 2019 SMR (Security Maintenance Release) includes fixes for six critical and over two dozen high and moderate-risk vulnerabilities in the Android OS. It also includes patches for 13 vulnerabilities that are specific to Galaxy devices. The update for the Galaxy A50 may not include any new features, but it may fix the fingerprint issues reported earlier. For the S10 series, given the impending release of Android 10, Samsung is unlikely to add any new features through this update.

If you haven’t received the OTA notification yet, you can manually check for it by going to Settings and tapping the Download updates manually option under the Software Update menu. If that doesn’t work and you are impatient to wait, you can download the latest firmware for your device from our database and manually flash it.

Galaxy Fold 2 price could be $850, launch expected in February 2020

It’s no secret that Samsung has been working on the Galaxy Fold 2. The company is expected to launch at least two foldable smartphones in the coming year. If Samsung’s own teaser is to be believed, one of those models will have a clamshell form factor.

A new report from South Korea provides an idea of what the Galaxy Fold 2 price could be. It also claims that Samsung may unveil the device in February 2020 alongside the Galaxy S11. An upgraded model of the existing Galaxy Fold would be launched later in the year.

Samsung may set the Galaxy Fold 2 price at $850

Satisfied with the response it has received for the Galaxy Fold, Samsung is reportedly aiming to sell 6 million foldable phones in 2020. It would need to bring the price point down in order to do that. Despite its $2,000 price tag, Samsung is believed to have sold over 500,000 units of the Galaxy Fold so far.

Citing unnamed industry sources, Korean media is reporting that the clamshell foldable phone from Samsung will be unveiled with the Galaxy S11 in February. It also expects the Galaxy Fold 2 price to be around 1 million won or roughly $850. If that is accurate, it may even be cheaper than the Galaxy S11+.

There isn’t a lot of information available about the device’s specs so far. What we do know is that it bears model number SM-F700F and will likely feature a 6.7-inch foldable display and a 1-inch cover display with at least one tiny 900mAh battery. It’s unclear what Samsung might cut from the device to bring the Galaxy Fold 2 price to less than half of what it sells the original Galaxy Fold for.

The report goes on to mention that the second iteration of the Galaxy Fold will be announced later in the year, possibly around August. This suggests that it could come alongside the Galaxy Note 11. There’s no mention of what that model might cost but it would likely be sold for a higher price point, even if the price tag doesn’t touch $2,000 anymore.

Bear in mind that things could change down the line. There’s no conclusive evidence to support any of these theories so far. So while the idea of an $850 foldable smartphone seems compelling, let’s just wait and see what else comes up.

Samsung monthly updates: December 2019 security patch gets detailed

We have seen Samsung releasing the security patch for a new month even before it breaks down everything that the patch fixes. The December patch will be the last of the Samsung monthly updates for 2019. It has already been rolled out for some devices like the Galaxy Note 10 and the Galaxy A50.

Samsung has now detailed the December 2019 security patch. As expected, it brings all of the fixes that Google has made for the core Android OS. There are also some fixes for Samsung’s own software.

Samsung has already released the December 2019 security patch

The December 2019 security patch fixes six critical vulnerabilities in the Android OS. That’s in addition to over two dozen high and moderate-risk vulnerabilities. It also fixes 13 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures that were discovered in the company’s own software.

One such vulnerability exposed the home screen wallpaper when the brightness levels were adjusted on locked devices. Another allowed a connection to any new Bluetooth devices on a locked device. The most severe Android OS vulnerability that this patch fixes could allow a remote attacker to run code on a device in the context of an unprivileged process.

Samsung is now in the process of rolling out the December 2019 security patch for its devices across the globe. It’s going to take a few weeks for this process to complete. However, this won’t be the update that most people will be waiting for. Samsung has also begun rolling out the Android 10 update for the Galaxy S10. Our list shows that it’s already out in almost a dozen countries.

The stable Android 10 update for the Galaxy S10 will also make its way to more markets this month. Samsung is also likely to release this update for the Galaxy Note 10 in the near future. The December 2019 security patch will be present in that firmware update.

Galaxy Note 10+ 5G pre-orders go live on T-Mobile

The 5G variant of the Galaxy Note 10+ has found a home at yet another of the major North American carriers. T-Mobile has started taking pre-orders for the Galaxy Note 10+ 5G ahead of the launch of its nationwide 5G network, which will cover over 200 million people in the US, on Friday. The phone will be available for purchase in stores and online on Friday as well and will also be headed to Metro, T-Mobile’s prepaid brand.

Like the Verizon and AT&T version, T-Mobile’s Galaxy Note 10+ 5G will retail for $1299.99 when bought outright, while those looking to get it on a contract will have to pay $36.12 per month for 36 months and not have to pay anything upfront. T-Mobile is offering a second Note 10+ 5G for free to those who add a new line, while those who port their number to Metro get to save a cool $300.

The Galaxy Note 10+ 5G is the second 5G-equipped Galaxy flagship that has been launched in the US. It was initially exclusive to Verizon and came to AT&T just a week ago, although AT&T will be delivering the phone to pre-order customers on December 17th, almost two weeks after it goes on sale on T-Mobile’s network.
