Samsung’s newest smartphones will debut around the world on April 10th in retail stores, and a number of countries worldwide now allow you to pre-order the device of your choice. Still, there are some places that will have to wait behind Samsung’s worldwide launch before they’ll see the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge.
The Korean manufacturer announced launch dates at a presentation in Singapore today. The launch dates in question pertain to the Asian continent. Australia, Myanmar, Singapore, Taiwan, and mainland China will see the GS6 and S6 edge launch in retail stores on April 10th, the same day as the devices’ worldwide launch.
The remaining dates are as follows: Cambodia (April 12); Indonesia (April 13); Malaysia (April 17); Philippines (April 18); Thailand and Hong Kong (April 20); and Laos (April 24).
We’ve reported on Singapore, Malaysia, and Philippines pricing recently, so take a look at our work if you’re deciding on purchasing either device. Stay tuned to SamMobile as we bring you the latest in GS6/S6 edge coverage.
