Exactly two months after they were launched in the US, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 and Galaxy Tab A 9.7 have received a small yet sizable price cut in the country. The tablets are now available for $200 and $720 respectively, making it a $30 price drop from their launch prices. It’s not a huge decrease by any means, but the new prices are more suitable for the hardware that the two tablets offer.
The specs include a 4:3 display with a resolution of 1024×768 pixels, a quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 1.5GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 16GB of expandable storage (along with 100GB of free OneDrive storage for two years), and 4,200/6,000 mAh batteries on the 8 and 9.7-inch models. Both tablets run Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box, with a slew of Microsoft apps pre-loaded.
Anyone interested in buying one of these tablets at the new prices?
