The day has finally come for Samsung fans in the United States, they can finally pick up the company’s latest flagship tablet. It has been a while since Samsung launched a high-end tablet but the company has made amends with the Galaxy Tab S2, starting today customers in the country can pick one up from a retail or carrier partner. Major retailers like Amazon and Best Buy are carrying both models with 9.7-inch and 8.0-inch displays whereas carriers like T-Mobile, Sprint and Verizon have the cellular variants.
The Galaxy Tab S2 has a 2048×1536 Super AMOLED display on both models as well as the same Quad 1.9GHz + Quad 1.3GHz octa-core processor hooked up to 3GB of RAM. There’s 32/64GB of internal storage with support for microSD cards. The tablet has an 8-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front camera with Android 5.0 Lollipop running the entire show. Prices for the 9.7-inch model with 5,780mAh battery start at $499 whereas the smaller 8.0-inch model with its 4,000mAh battery starts at $399.
