We’ve been hearing a lot of reports about the Galaxy S7 lately, including the one where we reported that it might have three versions, each with a different processor. There was one more rumour that claimed that the Galaxy S7 could tout a dual-camera setup. Now, we have a new report from SamsungViet which suggests that Samsung’s next flagship could boast a single-edge display, an interesting concept given that its predecessor has a dual-edge display, and given that the Note 4, one of Samsung’s most famous devices, also features such as design.
Part of the reason why we’ve been hearing so much about the Galaxy S7 is because of the fact that the company made the switch to Agile development methodology, a process which can shorten development time by up to two months. This means that we will be seeing the next flagship far earlier than usual, but in the meantime, reports will continue to flow through. A single curve display would certainly be interesting as it could make use of the features that make this sort of design stand out, while also retaining an ergonomic build.
