The Galaxy A9 recently passed certification process through FCC, which made it clear that the device will be announced soon. Now, the most high-end smartphone in the Galaxy A series has passed through TENAA, China’s certification and regulatory authority, thereby revealing its design as well as most of its specifications.
The Galaxy A9 (SM-A9000) features a 6-inch 1080 Super AMOLED display, a 13-megapixel primary camera with 1080p video recording, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, a fingerprint sensor, and comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. This particular variant is equipped with an octa-core Snapdragon 620 processor, which is coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

There’s a microSD card slot that supports storage expansion by upto an additional 128GB. This metal clad smartphone measures 161.7 × 80.9 × 7.4mm and weighs 200 grams. It will be released in gold and white colors. Though the battery capacity wasn’t revealed in this certification, it will most probably come with a 4,000 mAh battery.
