Customers in the United States can purchase the Galaxy J3 (2016) through Sprint as well as prepaid carriers Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile. Since all three are CDMA carriers the handset can’t be used on GSM networks like AT&T and T-Mobile. Those who would like to use the Galaxy J3 (2016) on GSM networks can now purchase the handset from Amazon. It’s selling the unlocked version that’s compatible with both AT&T and T-Mobile. Do keep in mind that AT&T is going to launch the Galaxy J3 (2016) on its network in May.
Amazon is selling the Galaxy J3 (2016) for $189.99, slightly cheaper than the $192 that Sprint is asking for it on its network. It works on AT&T and T-Mobile, and can be purchased in black, white and gold colors. Only the black and white are dual SIM. For $189.99 customers are getting a smartphone that has a 5-inch 720p display, Snapdragon 410 processor with 1.5GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage with microSD card support, 8-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front camera, 2,600mAh battery and Android 5.1 Lollipop.
