The Gear S2 is one of the best devices Samsung has ever launched. Not just because it’s just a great smartwatch, but also because it’s a device that Samsung took the time to perfect instead of rushing it out the door as it usually does with most of its mobile products. It has a great design, and the Gear S2 also introduced us to what is probably the most intuitive way to control a smartwatch yet: the rotating bezel.
Samsung took a traditional watch feature and turned it into the primary way of navigation on its latest smartwatch, but as someone who has used other smartwatches before making the jump to the Gear S2, I often find myself ignoring the rotating bezel and using the touchscreen itself. It’s a force of habit, and I often find myself reminding myself of the bezel in the middle of swiping through the interface. It has barely been a month since I switched to the Gear S2, so it’s possible I’ll stop touching that tiny display and start rotating that ring on top of the watch after a couple of weeks.
But it’s also possible that will never happen, and it’s likely there are many users out there that keep forgetting the nifty rotating bezel on their Gear S2. Are you one of them? Did it take time for you to start using the bezel, or did it become a habit from the very first day? Tell us in the comments and also let us know through the poll below!
