After unveiling the Galaxy J2 (2016) and the Galaxy J Max, Samsung has listed a new entry-level Android smartphone on its official website, the Galaxy J1 Ace Neo.
Samsung South Africa has listed the Galaxy J1 Ace Neo (SM-J111) on its official website. The smartphone features a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. It uses a 1.5GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC8830 processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage, and a microSD card slot.
Samsung has equipped the Galaxy J1 Ace Neo with a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with ƒ/2.2 aperture, autofocus, LED flash, and HD video recording. There’s a 2-megapixel front-facing camera as well. It features one SIM card slot, LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and microUSB 2.0 port.
The smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, which is a shame considering that it has been almost a year since Android 6.0 was released. There’s a 1900 mAh battery with Ultra Power Saving mode. The Galaxy J1 Ace Neo will be available in three colors: Black, Blue, and White.
