Prior to the Galaxy Note 7′s official announcement it was rumored that the handset would feature 6GB of RAM. That’s not the case as the handset comes with 4GB of RAM which is more than enough but for some fans more is never enough. We recently found out that Samsung could soon launch a variant of the Galaxy Note 7 that has 6GB RAM as well as 128GB of internal storage but that this variant will be exclusive to China only. New information has surfaced which suggests that the Galaxy Note 7 with 6GB RAM could cost over $900.
This particular variant of the Galaxy Note 7 is reportedly going to be launched in China on August 26th. China is likely going to be the only market in which Samsung offers the 6GB variant with 128GB storage. It appears that local manufacturers in China have forced Samsung’s hand as most of their high-end devices now have 6GB of RAM. Consumers are likely to move away from the Galaxy Note 7 just because its specs don’t line up on paper with that of the rivals. Customers in China who want to pick one up will have to spend 6,088 yuan or just over $900. Samsung will also sell the 4GB variant in China for 5688 yuan or about $850.
