It was reported a couple of days ago that Samsung was gearing up to launch a new pink smartphone, we’ve found out for sure today that it’s not an entirely new device, it’s just a new color option for the Galaxy S7. Samsung has now started selling the Pink Galaxy S7 in South Korea. This is not the same color as Pink Gold which is already out and available in several markets, and if you happen to be curious, here’s what it’s like spending a month with Samsung’s pink gold “ladyphone.”
This is just pure pink without any of the lustre that gold adds. What’s interesting to note is that Samsung is only offering this color option with the Galaxy S7 and not with the Galaxy S7 edge and it’s only available with the 32GB model of the handset. Everything else remains the same so it’s still the same Galaxy S7 that we all know and love, just with a fresh coat of paint. Samsung is yet to confirm whether this color option is going to be offered with the Galaxy S7 edge as well and if the Pink Galaxy S7 is ever going to make its way out of South Korea.
