A smartphone-loving Redditor has asked 1,433 Galaxy S8 owners questions, calculated the averages of all of the responses and presented them in a series of tables for technology enthusiasts all over the world to analyze.
“The ratings were generated from a total of 1,433 responses gathered from Reddit (96%); a very small amount coming from XDA Developers (3%) and Facebook (1%),” explains the Redditor, posting under the handle Awesomesauce1492.
Customers are particularly impressed with the handset’s build quality, camera and screen, according to the results, but feel like Samsung could have done better in the software department, with Bixby and TouchWiz falling short of expectations.
It shouldn’t come as a surprise to hear that the majority of owners aren’t happy with the physical Bixby button, wishing it could be remapped by default. Although, there are some users who support Samsung’s attempts to block remapping tools.

An impressive 80% of customers revealed that if they could go back in time, they’d purchase the Galaxy S8 again, while a mere 7% said that they weren’t happy with the handset and would opt for a different device.
“With an average satisfaction rating of 4.3/5 and an 80% willingness to buy again, Galaxy S8 owners tend to be extremely satisfied with their purchase,” summarized Awesomesauce1492, adding that there were a number of flaws with the survey.
