Samsung fans have had almost two months to decide whether or not they want to purchase the Galaxy Fold. The handset was unveiled on February 20 this year. Samsung confirmed that it would be available for purchase starting April 26 for $1,980.
The company has since started taking pre-orders for the Galaxy Fold in the United States. The initial demand appears to meet Samsung’s expectations. It will release the handset there on April 26. The Galaxy Fold is then expected to arrive in South Korea by mid-May. Samsung will be releasing the device in other markets across the globe as well down the line.
