Samsung has launched its three new tablets, the Galaxy Tab S5e, Galaxy Tab A 10.1, and the Galaxy Tab A with S Pen, in Brazil. The Tab S5e and Tab A 10.1 are now available to purchase in the country, whereas the Tab A with S Pen will be available from June 24. The devices can be purchased at Samsung’s online and physical stores, as well as major authorized retailers throughout the nation.
Prices start at $1,399
Samsung’s latest line of tablets offer pretty decent specs at very affordable prices. The Galaxy Tab S5e features a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels. It is the company’s thinnest tablet yet with a thickness of just 5.5 mm. It has a Snapdragon 670 octa-core CPU, coupled with the Adreno 615 GPU, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage.
The device houses a massive 7,040mAh battery with support for fast charging. Other features include a fingerprint sensor, a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera, and four AKG-tuned Dolby Atmos speakers. The Galaxy Tab S5e is priced at BRL2,999 (~$773) in Brazil.
The Galaxy Tab A, which comes with an S Pen, features an 8-inch TFT display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. Under the hood is an Exynos 7904 processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage. The device gets a 4,200mAh battery and features an 8MP rear and 5MP front camera setup. It comes with Android Pie onboard. The Galaxy Tab A with S Pen costs BRL1,699 (~$438).
The Galaxy Tab A 10.1, meanwhile, comes in two variants in Brazil. The LTE variant costs BRL1,599 (~$412), whereas the Wi-Fi-only version is priced at BRL1,399 (~$360). As for the specs, it has a 10.1-inch TFT display and is powered by the same Exynos 7904 CPU as the Tab A. It gets 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage space and features a decent 8MP+5MP camera setup. This device packs a 6,150mAh battery and also features dual Dolby Atmos speakers.
