Samsung has announced the launch of the Galaxy A10s in the Indian market. The smartphone, which was introduced earlier this month, is an entry-level offering and an iterative upgrade to the Galaxy A10. But unlike the original A10, the Galaxy A10s isn’t manufactured by Samsung. It is an ODM smartphone.
Galaxy A10s specifications
The Galaxy A10s is equipped with a 6.2-inch Infinity-V display of HD+ resolution (720×1520 pixels). It features a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 13MP primary shooter and a 2MP depth camera. The front-facing camera is an 8MP sensor. Under the hood is an octa-core (quad 2.0GHz + quad 1.5GHz) processor.
The smartphone comes in 2GB and 3GB RAM variants with 32GB of internal storage space, expandable up to 512GB via a dedicated MicroSD slot. The whole package is powered by a 4,000mAh battery. Additional features include a capacitive fingerprint sensor on the back, face unlocking technology, and Android 9 Pie with Samsung’s One UI on top.
The Galaxy A10s will be available in the Indian market from August 28. It is priced at Rs. 9,499 (~$130) for the 2GB RAM and 32GB storage variant. The 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant will cost Rs. 10,499 (~$145). The handset comes in three color options – green, blue, and black. It can be purchased through Samsung e-shop and Samsung Opera House, as well as other major online and offline retail channels.
