The Galaxy Note 10 Lite has taken a couple of steps closer to an official launch. Support pages for the upcoming Galaxy Note 10 spin-off have been listed on Samsung’s official website in Spain and a few other countries, and the device has also been certified by the FCC. Rumors peg the Galaxy Note 10 Lite’s launch in January, at least in India, and it seems everything is progressing according to Samsung’s plans.
Neither the support pages nor the FCC certification reveal anything new about the phone. However, we can look to other sources for details on what the Galaxy Note 10 Lite will have to offer. For example, Bluetooth certification revealed that the Note 10 Lite could be the first Samsung phone with Bluetooth 5.1, which can — in theory — enable features like location tracking for the S Pen. Benchmark listings, meanwhile, tell us that the device will be powered by the Exynos 9810 chipset, the one that powered the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy Note 9 last year.
The Galaxy Note 10 Lite will have a battery that’s bigger than the battery inside the Galaxy Note 10+ – 4,500 mAh cell that should be able to power through a day of moderately intense use despite the 2018 processor under the hood. It will also have a headphone jack, as suggested by leaked renders, and all of this could be offered for a starting price of around €609. That’s considerably lower than the price tag attached to a Galaxy Note 10, which is to be expected given the ‘Lite’ moniker.
