Galaxy M32 secures Bluetooth approval while the 5G model is M.I.A.

Another clue emerged earlier today to bring the unannounced Galaxy M32 closer to reality. Two variants of the Galaxy M32 bearing model numbers SM-M325F_DS and SM-M325FV_DS have just been approved by Bluetooth, signaling that Samsung might be planning on bringing this rebranded mid-range phone to the market sooner rather than later.

Bluetooth hasn’t mentioned any hardware details pertaining to the Galaxy M32, save for its Bluetooth 5.0 capabilities, but the same model number was also spotted in online benchmarks last month, with all evidence so far indicating that the Galaxy M32 is another rebranded phone, this time inspired by the Galaxy A32.

Galaxy M32 5G is nowhere to be found

The Galaxy M32 is expected to be powered by the same MediaTek Helio G80 chipset as the Galaxy A32 (4G), and it could have the same design and camera configuration. One area in which the two phones could differ might be the battery. A different approval paper that was published weeks ago indicates that the Galaxy M32 will pack a 6,000mAh battery as opposed to a 5,000mAh unit.

So far there’s been no evidence of the Galaxy M32 being accompanied by a 5G variant, but that’s probably for the better given the fact that the Galaxy A32 4G is superior to the 5G variant in more than one way. At least there’s a chance that the Galaxy M32 will sport a 90Hz display if it doesn’t have 5G capabilities. Time will tell, so stay tuned and we’ll keep you posted as soon as we find out more.
