Samsung’s upcoming tablet won’t be called Galaxy Tab S7+ Lite

The trimmed-down version of the Galaxy Tab S7+ was rumored to be launched as the Galaxy Tab S7 Lite. Later, it was reported that it would actually be named the Galaxy Tab S7+ Lite. Now, a completely new name has emerged for Samsung’s upcoming mid-range tablet, thanks to a new certification document.

Samsung is going to name its upcoming tablet the Galaxy Tab S7 XL Lite. Six variants of the mid-range tablet received their final Bluetooth certification earlier today. These variants are SM-T730, SM-T735, SM-T735N, SM-T736B, SM-T736N, and SM-T737. The SM-T730 could be the Wi-Fi-only variant of the Galaxy Tab S7 XL Lite, while the SM-T735 and the SM-T735N could be the 4G variants of the tablet. The SM-T736B and the SM-T736N could be 5G versions of the Galaxy Tab S7 XL Lite. All these tablets feature Bluetooth 5.0.

The Galaxy Tab S7 XL Lite is rumored to feature a 12.4-inch IPS LCD display and an S Pen, but whether or not it has a high refresh rate remains to be seen. It has stereo speakers and a single rear-facing camera. The tablet will run Android 11-based One UI 3 out of the box. It is equipped with the Snapdragon 750G processor, 4GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot. It has a metal body and it will be available in five colors: black, blue, green, rose gold, and silver. It also features a USB Type-C port and 45W fast charging.
