Czech Republic, Italy, Austria, Switzerland and South Korea… someone did their homework again, haven’t they? What else to say but bravo for Samsung as the July 1st, 2021 security update is now confirmed to be releasing not just regionally, but internationally.
Following its yesterday’s debut in the heart of Europe, the very same firmware release has now also been sighted in the aforementioned countries. As expected, the very first builds appear to be targeting the entirety of the Galaxy S10 series. All four of its international models, that is: the Galaxy S10 (G973FXXSBFUF3), Galaxy S10e (G970FXXSBFUF3), Galaxy S10+ (G975FXXSBFUF3), and the Galaxy S10 5G (G977BXXS8FUF3).
Samsung’s hasn’t lost a step, even while being smack in the middle of vacation season
Additionally, joining these earliest of birds is the Galaxy Tab Active 2, of all devices. The Far Eastern variant of the device, at least, which is now receiving the update designated as the release T395NKOSCCUF2. That’s an Android 9 tablet we’re talking about – and a rugged one, at that. Definitely an unlikely joint-winner in the newly concluded race to the July 1st security update.
But Samsung knows better than anyone that the true race is only now beginning, as it seems to have greenlit a global rollout first thing this morning. Its other recent software releases might have been a bit earlier to start deploying but we’re in the middle of vacationing season following two years in isolation – Samsung losing half a step in these circumstances is very much understandable. Anyway, you know the drill: our firmware archives, whenever you’re ready. Assuming your particular device is already part of the rollout. Don’t worry, we’re keeping you posted.
