Galaxy Book Flex 3 Alpha visits the FCC while running Windows 11 Pro

Samsung appears to be developing a direct sequel to the Galaxy Book Flex 2 Alpha in anticipation of Microsoft’s big Windows 11 announcement next month. A yet-to-be-released Samsung laptop was discovered recently at the FCC (via LaptopUnderBudget), and its model number strongly suggests that it’s a new entry in the Book Flex Alpha lineup.

The unannounced laptop has model number NP750, whereas the ongoing Galaxy Book Flex 2 Alpha is known by model number NP730, so there’s obviously a connection. The FCC documents also revealed Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 2.4G/5G connectivity, along with a battery that carries model number AA-PBAN6TI. It’s not a new model and should have a capacity of around 6,800mAh.

Powered by Intel and Windows 11 Pro

The Galaxy Book Flex 3 Alpha — or whatever this laptop ends up being called — runs Windows 11 Pro, as confirmed by the FCC application. In addition, it’s powered by an unspecified Intel processor, but it’s worth noting that the Galaxy Book Flex 2 was announced earlier this year with 11th Gen Intel i5 and i7 CPU options. In theory, the Galaxy Book Flex 3 Alpha should offer no less.

As for Windows 11 Pro, Microsoft is expected to launch the OS at the beginning of October. Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Book Flex 3 Alpha could very well be amongst the first laptops to feature Windows 11 Pro out of the box. After all, the two companies continue cooperating for better cross-compatibility, and already, Samsung laptops will reportedly be able to run Android apps natively on Windows 11.
