Samsung released the October 2021 security update to the Galaxy Note 10 series earlier this month. Three days ago, the unlocked variants of the smartphones started getting the security update in the US. Now, the carrier-locked units of Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ have started getting it.
The latest update for the carrier-locked variants of the Galaxy Note 10 and the Galaxy Note 10+ comes with firmware version N97xUSQS7FUI6. It is available on Comcast, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Xfinity Mobile networks in the US. The update brings the October 2021 security patch to fix more than 60 vulnerabilities found in Galaxy devices. It might also contain general bug fixes and stability improvements.
If you are a Galaxy Note 10 or Galaxy Note 10+ user on any carrier networks mentioned above, you can check for the OTA update by heading to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.
Samsung had launched the Galaxy Note 10 series in mid-2019 with Android 9 on board. The phones in the lineup received the Android 10 update in December 2019 and the Android 11 update in December 2020.
