It’s been a few weeks since Samsung opened up the One UI 4.0 beta for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip 3 in limited markets. This has enabled owners of Samsung’s latest foldables to get in on the Android 12 One UI 4.0 action.
The beta program is moving along nicely for the devices. Samsung has rolled out the latest One UI 4.0 beta for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. This goes to show that it may not be long before these devices receive the final version of the update.
Samsung’s latest foldables get the newest One UI 4.0 beta
The ZUKG build is the 3rd One UI 4.0 beta update for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. It’s rolling out to users in South Korea today. The changelog mentions several improvements that this build brings. A handful of bugs have also been fixed. The changelog has been posted below for your convenience.
South Korea isn’t the only country where people with Samsung’s latest foldable phones can join the beta. The company recently opened it up to users in the United States as well. The process to join the beta remains the same, though.
Just head over to the Samsung Members app, tap on the beta banner and join. If you’re already running the beta firmware, you’ll receive an OTA update to the latest build when it becomes available.
Samsung has already released the One UI 4.0 Android 12 update to the public for the Galaxy S21 series. That’s the first lineup to get the update. Expect other high-end Samsung devices to get their final One UI 4.0 update before the end of this year.
