Many Samsung fans were not impressed when it was confirmed that the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge don’t have two features that they’ve loved the most: a removable battery and a microSD card slot. Naturally there was a lot of criticism thrown Samsung’s way but it doesn’t appear to have fazed the company because it’s set to do the same with the Galaxy Note 5. If you took the plunge anyway and decided to purchase the Galaxy S6 or S6 edge even though it doesn’t have a microSD card slot you might be interested in the offGRID case from Incipio.
Incipio offGRID case for the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge features a 3,700mAh battery so it’s quite capable of charging both handsets from 0% to 100% and then some. It also features a microSD card slot that supports expansion up to 128GB, the only downside here is that the case is going to make the device a little bulky and heavy but that’s the price you have to pay to get more juice and storage. Then there’s the sticker price: Incipio offGrid costs $89.99. Incipio does says that this case is thinnest in its class, measuring just 9mm from the rear of the device with chamfered edges making it easier for the handset to slide inside pockets.
