The Galaxy J1 was the first device in the entry-level Galaxy J series of smartphones from Samsung, and it has been around six months since its initial release. Samsung has a habit of releasing variations of existing devices with slight changes or improvements. Now something dubbed Galaxy Ace J1 has surfaced on the Internet, probably a variant of the Galaxy J1.
The device has been listed on a Dutch website NieuweMobiel.NL with the model number SM-J110F, which means that there might be some differences in the hardware as well. Even in terms of pricing, the Galaxy Ace J1 is listed with a price that is a bit higher than the Galaxy J1. It is reportedly listed on this website since past one month. The Galaxy J1 Pop was leaked last month, and this might be the same device with a different name.
Currently, there no addition information about its specifications, but we might soon know more once Samsung announces it officially, or when other stores start listing it. We also reported about the Galaxy J2 (SM-J200F) earlier today, and it features a 4.7-inch display, a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
Samsung recently announced the Galaxy J5 and the Galaxy J7, and both feature front-facing cameras with LED flash. Both these devices feature newer version of TouchWiz that we’ve seen in the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge.
