It hasn’t really been a secret that carriers in the United States will offer the cellular version of the Gear S2 smartwatch, the Gear S2 itself went on sale in the country last month and today the second largest carrier in the United States has confirmed when it’s going to start taking pre-orders for Samsung’s new smartwatch. Mark your calendars for November 6.
The Gear S2 happens to be one of the two smartwatches that are going to get support for AT&T’s NumberSync feature which it launches in early 2016, the feature will allow subscribers to share their smartphone number across multiple devices which includes smartwatches. So users will easily be able to receive and make calls/texts from the Gear S2 on AT&T without having to carry the smartphone with them. Pre-orders for the Gear S2 being November 6 on AT&T, the carrier is selling it for $199.99 with a two year contract or for $0 down with equal monthly installments of $15 per month for 20 months. It will be available from AT&T retail stores from November 20.
