Sprint announces Galaxy Forever annual upgrade plan, offers BOGO half-off on the Galaxy S7 and the S7 edge

Sprint really wants to be the carrier that customers in the United States pick up Samsung’s latest flagship from. It has announced that for a limited time new and existing customers can lease or buy one Galaxy S7 or S7 edge and get the second one for half-off. It’s up to customers to decide whether they want to purchase two Galaxy S7, two Galaxy S7 edge or one of each, they simply get half-off on the second handset.

The carrier is also offering a new annual upgrade program called Galaxy Forever. Customers who lease the Galaxy S7 or the Galaxy S7 edge can upgrade to the next flagship when it arrives by simply making 12 payments on a Sprint Lease. Customers need to confirm at the point of sale that they wish to participate in this upgrade program and then make 12 monthly payments on the Galaxy Forever Sprint Lease. This makes them eligible to upgrade immediately when the next Samsung Galaxy flagship arrives in 2017. Lease for the Galaxy S7 on this plan will cost $25.99 per month for 24 months with upgrade available after 12 payments and $30.50 per month for the Galaxy S7 edge with upgrade eligibility after 12 payments.

Sprint starts taking pre-orders for the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 edge starting February 23 with shipments beginning March 11. Customers who pre-order the handset will receive the Gear VR headset for free aside from a 6-game bundle valued at $170.
