Rejoice, Galaxy S6 Active owners! AT&T has just started rolling out Android Marshmallow to your smartphones. The update also brings Wi-Fi calling to the water-resistant device. The Galaxy S6 Active was released with Android 5.0 and was later updated to Android 5.1 eight months ago.
The Android 6.0 update for the Galaxy S6 Active (SM-G890A) has a file size of 1441MB and build number MMB29K.G890AUCU3CPE4. You can check for the update by heading into the Settings » About device » Software update menu.
Android 6.0 brings battery-saving Doze mode, app permissions management, Google Now on Tap, Direct Share, newer TouchWiz design, and more. If you happen to have installed the update already, let us know how the device performs with Android Marshmallow.
