Samsung has today unveiled the latest headset in its Level U range of Bluetooth-enabled personal speakers, the Level U Pro ANC. This is the firm’s first pair of earphones to feature a powerful Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) system and two-way speakers, which, when combined, provide studio-quality sound. The Level U Pro ANC also supports Ultra High Quality (UHQ) playback delivering 95kHz, 24-bit sound, which is higher than the standard of audio that CD’s use.
Just like the Level U and Level U Pro, the Level U Pro ANC features a magnetic clasp along the side of the earbuds, which not only prevents them from tangling, but enables you to control your music (play/pause/fast forward/rewind) and accept/decline calls, too. If you have the Level application installed on your smartphone, you’ll also have access to S Voice and a Text-to-Speech (TTS) converter, which provides you with real-time voice updates on missed calls, incoming emails, and new text messages.
The Level U Pro ANC headset will launch in the United States later this month. Providing all goes according to plan, it will hit the shelves in Europe, Russia and Korea before the year’s out. Unfortunately, we have no information with regards to pricing, but we expect the unit to cost somewhere in the region of $100-120.
