Samsung has started distributing the long-awaited Nougat update for the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge — SM-G930F and SM-G935F, respectively — in Taiwan, reveals online blog Taiwan Fans Club. The upgrade, which weighs in at a a little under 1.3GB, transports all of the functionality you’d expect to find baked into Android 7.0, in addition to a plethora of much-needed bug fixes and stability improvements.
If you own a Galaxy S7 (G930FXXU1DQBI) or Galaxy S7 edge (G935FXXU1DQBI), reside in Taiwan and would like to see if the update is ready for your device, simply head into Settings » About Device » Download Updates Manually. Alternatively, you can wait until you receive push notification instructing you to install the firmware, but it may take a little longer to arrive.
