Samsung seems to be gearing up to launch a refreshed Galaxy J series. We’ve been hearing reports about the devices in this series for the past couple of weeks. Just yesterday we saw some purported leaked photos of the Galaxy J5 (2017). That handset is believed to run Android 7.0 Nougat of the box and now there’s more reason to believe that all devices in the Galaxy J (2017) will be powered by Nougat.
The Galaxy J3 (2017) bearing model number SM-J330F has surfaced on the Wi-Fi Alliance website. The certification reveals that this device is going to be powered by Android 7.0 Nougat. Not much is known about the specifications of this handset but considering that it’s the base model in the company’s mid-range series, the specs will be nothing to write home about.
Samsung is yet to confirm when it’s going to launch the Galaxy J (2017) series. Given that we’re hearing more and more details about these devices it may not be long before the company makes its new mid-range series official.
